With Walmart Canada, managed SEO performance, ranking data, and organic traffic strategies for two of the top GMV revenue-producing categories – Gifts & Holidays (seasonal) and Outdoor Living. This included positional ranking improvements for target keyword(s), internal and external linking updates and implementations, and content copywriting. Also developed and implemented content marketing strategies to drive organic traffic which included launching new category pages that presented high search volume opportunities that potentially translate to organic traffic.

Helped create and implement creative SEO strategies that contributed to 370 million organic website visits that generated $853 million in eCommerce revenue for Walmart.ca. In our 2022 fiscal year, the unbranded traffic of the two categories directly managed, led to over $7.4 million in GMV revenue.

Introduced 'bite-sized content"—a short, infographic-like content piece that provides valuable and easy-to-read content to readers. This was picked up by large third-party sites like Narcity and Yahoo Canada, which linked back to the main seasonal pages.

We started 2022 with our tracked keywords having an average positional ranking of over 25—near the bottom of the third page of Google. Through optimizations throughout the year, we brought this up to 8.41, a +14 YoY improvement, exceeding company goals of 10.
